An immersive journey:

“150 anniversary
Galerie Kraemer”

exhibition until 20 December
from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.,
Monday to Saturday

43 rue de Monceau Paris 8e France

To mark its 150th anniversary, Galerie Kraemer takes us on a unique journey from the eighteenth century to the present day.

An innovative immersive digital installation, powered by artificial intelligence, takes a Martin Carlin cabinet on a journey through eighteenth-century, Art Deco, Jean-Michel Frank, Tadao Ando, and Ruhlmann interiors...

From Paris to London, New York, Miami, Hong Kong, Tokyo...

In the exhibition, Reizell, Riesener, Jacob and Boulle engage in a dialogue with Magritte, Hartung, Matisse, Derain, Chagall, Soulages, Degas, Sol LeWitt, and Rashid Johnson…

Louis XVI armchairs by Jean-Baptiste Delaunay surround Hubert Le Gall’s “Pégase” secretary desk, next to a drawing by Antony Gormley, and more.

In the many salons specially arranged for the occasion, a tribute is paid to the generations who founded the gallery, as well as to collectors, interior designers, museums, and their curators.

A moment of wonder before the exceptional eighteenth-century “vacuum machine”, on view at the heart of the exhibition celebrating 150 years of Galerie Kraemer.

The exhibition pays tribute to major figures who shaped the history of eighteenth-century decorative arts: Louis XIV, Madame de Pompadour, Marie-Antoinette, Abbé Nollet and his magnificent vacuum machine, likely designed for the cabinet of Louis XVI.

An exhibition where a member of the Kraemer family welcomes you and guides you through a visit filled with family anecdotes.
