Chandelier - Louis XVI

A Louis XVIII sphere-shaped enameled metal, glass and chased, pierced and gilded bronze chandelier wearing 18 arms of light. Motifs of griffins, signs of the Zodiac, and spreaded wings eagles. It supports a glass nacelle bowl intended to receive red fishes. A few elements figure in the book published by Percier and Fontaine in 1801. By Gérard-Jean GALLE.
