Since the very beginning, the Galerie Kraemer has hosted the most knowledgeable collectors.

Numerous prestigious French families were clients of the Gallery.
Among them were the Rothschild family, the Camondo family, as well as the Comte Boni de Castellane

The Gallery was also very popular amongst foreign families, such as the Wideners, Madame Balsan – Consuelo Vanderbilt, Duchess of Marlborough-Churchill at Blenheim Castle, the Hamilton Rices, JP Morgan, the Sassoons, the Rockefeller, Calouste Gulbenkian, and Henry E. Huntington. Numerous collectors and aristocratic families from Central Europe and prerevolutionary Russia also paid regular visits to the Gallery to admire its art pieces.
